Cabling footprints are objects within elecworks™, letting you sum up, with the help of a manually constructed or automatically generated block, all the characteristics of an element connection:
Mark, number of material terminals, material reference, number of equipotentials, cabling (cable designation – core color), result, track number, etc.

The cabling footprints can be inserted in any schematic drawing, line diagram or 2D implementation. They can be inserted several times for the same mark. It is not necessary to allocate a manufacturer reference to the equipment in order to insert a cabling footprint.

Like all electrical objects handled by elecworks™, cabling footprints are automatically updated during different cross reference processing,  or any symbol adding/deleting/moving changes, thus ensuring the integrity of the electrical wiring diagrams.
